Korean Choi Eyes Asian Tour Record

As always, a golfers offseason is as long as he wants it to be. Tiger Woods won the clinching match at the Presidents Cup on Sunday. Hes not expected to play another PGA Tour event until Torrey Pines in January.

"I did not win this year but I made all the cuts in all the major tournaments so that's a positive sign for me," Choi said. "I finished higher on the U.S. PGA Tour rankings compared to last year so that's another success for me." Swede Rikard Karlberg believes Choi's reign will end this week with the Asian Tour field catching up on the world number 119's home advantage. "KJ has shown us how strong and solid his game is.

The trio departed from Hollywood Records, which they signed to back in 2007 at the height of their fame. In 2012 the band announced that they departed from their contract. A tour cancellation isnt really a good sign, especially since fans have been waiting for the boys to recapture their glory years of 2007 to 2009.

This year Ogilvy, a winner of $26.6 million in his career on the Tour, had just one top-10 in 19 starts and missed 19 cuts. "Statistically, my year was horrible in every respect," Ogilvy told USA TODAY Sports. "For a couple years leading up to 2013 I wasn't putting as well as I was used to putting, and then the confidence goes away, and this year I didn't quite hit the ball well, either, so it all went wrong." In past years, Ogilvy would be winding down about now, resting up about six weeks and then gearing up for a new start. Well, he's already had his rest he hasn't played since The Barclays in late August. He's been off "six or seven weeks off, I've lost count," he said, and has been driving his kids to and from school in Scottsdale.
